Fls 3-4 per stem, star-shaped, 73mm wide, facing downwards, luminous lemon yellow; perianth segments 31mm long, ovate, blunt, with pale mucro, a little reflexed, plane or with margins incurling, with midrib showing, of heavy substance, overlapping a quarter; the inner segments narrower, scarcely mucronate; corona 17mm long, cup-shaped, smooth, mouth wavy and a little expanded, with rim entire.
