Fl. 100mm wide; perianth segments 40mm long, very broadly ovate, blunt, mucronate, bright yellow, spreading, plane or with margins incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments shouldered at base; corona 42mm long, cylindrical, smooth, yellow, slightly deeper in tone than the perianth segments, mouth flared and frilled, with rim dentate.
