Description |
Fl. 85mm wide, facing upwards; perianth and other petaloid segments in three whorls; the outer whorl 35mm long, very broadly ovate, blunt, mucronate, greenish white 155C, spreading, slightly concave or with margins incurling, with midrib showing, creased and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner whorls narrower, successively shorter and more strongly inflexed towards centre, concave or folded; corona segments 20mm long, interspersed among the petaloid segments and clustered at centre, orange-yellow (14B), ribbed and heavily frilled, with rim crenate.
