Fl. rounded, 65mm wide; perianth segments 26mm long, roundish, very broad, truncate, mucronate, a little reflexed, concave, with margins incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments narrower, blunt, more nearly spreading; corona 4mm long, disc-shaped, ribbed, mouth expanded and lightly frilled, with rim dentate.
