Fl. rounded, 110mm wide; perianth segments 48mm long, broadly ovate, rounded, yellow with slight white mucro, reflexed, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments narrower, scarcely mucronate, shouldered at base; corona 15mm long, bowl-shaped, ribbed, yellow with deep green at base, mouth expanded and wavy, with rim minutely dentate.
