Description |
Fl. rounded, 110mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in many closely overlying whorls, ovate, blunt, yellow with slight pale mucro, spreading, plane, with margins incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner whorls successively shorter and more strongly inflexed towards the centre, more nearly concave, scarcely mucronate; corona segments one-third the length of the outer perianth segments, interspersed among the inner petaloid segments, orange, crumpled.
