Fl. rounded, 105mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in three or more whorls, ovate, truncate, spreading, plane or with margins incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner whorls successively shorter and more strongly inflexed towards the centre, concave or folded along midrib; corona segments half the length of the outer perianth segments, interspersed among the inner petaloid segments, folded and notched.
