Fl. rounded, 110mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in three or more whorls, brilliant greenish yellow 3A; the two outer whorls 50mm long, broadly ovate, rounded at apex, with slight pale mucro, spreading, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner whorls inflexed towards centre, more nearly concave; corona segments brilliant yellow 12B, half the length of the outer perianth segments, interspersed among the inner perianth segments, folded inwards along midrib, lightly frilled, with rim entire. Sweetly scented. Mid-season |
